SPORTS

We are delivering:

 

* Basketball

* Mixed Martial Arts -to promote self control and discipline

* Handball - empowers exercise which is key within the health and well being agenda

* Tennis

* Boxing Sessions - this involves drills, exercises, builds self esteem,

 

 All sports are delivered by qualified coaches within there profession and other sports
that are not listed are introduced upon our young people steering groups request
which is in line with our co-production agenda.

 

Media

 Film Making - To learn how to make a short film and learn the basics of script writing, story boarding, sound, camera work, drama and performance, editing and distribution. Music Production - Our workshops allow Young People to learn about basic music production and composing songs and other elements that is associated with music producing. Photography - Young People are taught how to correctly use digital camera's and the supporting equipment as well as learning how to use lighting appropriately and presentation.

Life Skills

To concentrate upon healthy cooking, healthy eating and living which is a massive agenda for government, especially for our young people. raising awareness through our monthly, quarterly newsletters that the young people design and produce.

Craft & Design

Customized clothing - Young People learn how to transfer there positive thoughts through art, expressing there idea's upon T-shirts and other clothing.
Furniture up-cycling & painting techniques - This is becoming very popular with Young People and our workshops provide skills so that they are able to recycle unwanted furniture safely and make this desirable for them self's and others.

Co-Production

Our young people work with their peers, customers, organisations and our partners to become a steering group of Young People to help effect change for their services as Community Buildings Management's Website; Policy & Procedures; Referral Forms have all been Co-Produced by our young people.
